About Us

The P-CCS Early Childhood Program promotes positive learning experiences for children and their families in a safe, nurturing environment. Experiences in the classroom are designed to support children as they build self-esteem, increase social development, extend independence, develop problem solving abilities and encourage a sense of curiosity and wonder for learning.
Our Early Childhood teachers use the Teaching Strategies Creative Curriculum to support learning in the classroom. The curriculum is researched-based and is aligned to the Michigan Department of Education Early Childhood Standards of Quality. The curriculum is designed to meet the needs of all young learners and is the foundation that supports:
- Social emotional development
- Numeracy development
- Language and literacy development
- Cognitive development
- Fine and gross motor development
